Booking Arrangements
To arrange booking, please contact Aberlour and we will require £100 booking fee.
Payment
Payment in full is required no later than 8 weeks prior to the let. Should the time frame be less than 8 weeks, the full payment will be required at the time of booking.
Please note we do not send any reminder out, it is your responsibility to pay in full within the agreed time frame. If no payment is received the property will be re-let.
Payment should be in the form of a cheque or travellers cheques in sterling.
We do not have the facility to receive credit or debit payments.
The Booking Fee
The booking fee is in addition to the full rental. This will be returned to you no later than 14 days following the letting period. This is providing that the property is left in the same condition as it was found and that all conditions of the let have been met.
You will find an inventory detailing all of the house contents. You should check and sign this on arrival however should you discover any of this to be inaccurate that you must notify the owner immediately.
Included in the Rental Fee
Then rental fee includes, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels (one hand and bath per guest) and some cleaning materials.
Period of Let
The property is normally available from Saturday to Saturday however, we also provide short weekday and weekend breaks.
Access to the property will be confirmed nearer the time of the let.
We normally state access is anytime between 3.30 – 4.30pm and departure is strictly at 10am.
Conditions of Let
The property is equipped to sleep 6 persons only.
Only those persons listed on the booking form may occupy the accommodation during the period of the let. No sub-letting is permitted. If more than the agreed number of persons accommodates the property we have the right to terminate the contract without refund.
No persons under 21 years of age will be permitted to occupy or rent the property unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
The person that signs the booking form will be held responsible for ensuring the conditions of the let are adhered to,
The property is strictly non-smoking.
No pets are allowed.
The accommodation should be kept clean and in good condition. If excessive cleaning is required, an additional cleaning charge will be levied.
If any of the conditions of let are not met then Aberlour has the right to withhold the booking fee.
We strongly recommend that you take out holiday insurance to cover cancellation, loss or damage to personal effects. We can not be held responsible for personal property or vehicles left at the property, these are left at your own risk.
All keys must be left within the property as agreed, in the event that any key or key(s) are lost/misplaced then you will be held liable for a £25 fee for having replacement keys cut.
Breakages
Whilst we appreciate that accidents can happen however, in the event that any breakages occur or any items missing following the rental period we will charge these on a replacement or repair cost.
Cancellations
You must contact us immediately if you need to cancel your holiday, this must be followed up in writing to confirm the cancellation. In the event of cancellation the booking fee is non-refundable. Any rent paid will only be returned in the event the property is re-let at the same price.
If the accommodation is not available to you due to unforeseen circumstances then all monies paid would be refunded in full.
